Blackbird Creations is the home of original art I create and share with the hopes to connect, inspire, find a lovng home for.  A portion of the my profits benefit a charity close to my heart: helping homeless families find stable housing. I paint in oils, acrylics, and watercolors. The subjects I paint are things I love and have deep meaning for me - nature, music, places I have traveled to.  I enjoy painting from photos of my travels: it is like revisiting those spots and always discovering something new. Living in both Arizona and Oregon, I live with so much inspiration! I also feel driven to do series work: to tell a story, to bring the viewer on my journey, to hopefully create an understanding of the human experience.  Each piece has a Blackbird in the painting. Sometimes in the composition, sometimes in the signature. I am blessed beyond measure, and the only way I can put it in words is through the Beatle’s song Blackbird:   “You were only waiting for this moment to arise. Blackbird fly...”
